Last night (Friday night), Michael and I decided to surprise Eva for her birthday. We had a coupon for TGI Fridays, and we took the whole family out for dinner. We didn't tell her that we were there to celebrate her birthday, and after dinner, the wait staff came out clapping and ready to sing to her. She didn't understand (because her birthday is on Monday). We told her that it was a surprise birthday party! She got shy and giggly, and then jumped right in with opening her three gifts. 
Eating out was an extra special treat since we have cut-out all extra spending from our budget. After dinner, we came home and watched the Space Shuttle Endeavor launch. Then we watched a movie together, and Broden fell asleep on Michael's lap:-) It was a special family night!
